Selfie Sticks Banned!
I can remember when front cameras became the biggest hit in society and a huge upgrade in the technological world. People could finally see their face when taking a picture of themselves! But that was almost 5 years ago. Now, you're telling me people can walk around and capture everything around them as well?
Selfie sticks are a debatable interest. I personally find them useless and harmless. Of course, if you attack someone attempting to use it as a lightsaber, then yes, it can be of harm. Concerts and events have banned selfie sticks due to their 'danger' to the common people.
People act as if the selfie stick is an extension of their body, kind of like an extra limb. I can see this being a problem. People using selfie sticks become unaware that the stick has extended to such a point where it does become a hazard to others.
I wouldn't want to be at a concert trying to enjoy my favourite music with a giant stick either poking me constantly or blocking my vision. I am at the show to enjoy the music, not dodge sticks and hope I get out alive and conscious. It's an interesting thought to think about how much creativity it must have taken to come up with such an idea.
